Memphis projects
Memphis creators film a wide range of long videos: music lessons and gear walkthroughs, barbecue and cooking, local history, small business how-tos, and companies explaining a service to customers. Interviews and conversations are common too, which brings its own work: two or three voices to balance, cameras to switch between, and tangents to trim.
Hot, humid summers make it tempting to film with a fan or the air conditioning running, and both show up clearly in the audio. If you can, switch them off while you record and take a break between takes. For music channels, send the instrument audio as its own file if you recorded it separately, and tell us which takes you want kept whole and which can be cut.
Some Memphis channels film outside, by the river or around the city. Wind is the main enemy of outdoor sound, so a foam or fur cover on the microphone makes a big difference. We match color between indoor and outdoor footage so the video still looks like one piece.
How a Memphis project runs
- You share the raw footage and tell us the topic, the target length and how often you post.
- We watch enough of it to scope the job and send a written quote with a delivery date.
- You review a first cut on a link and leave notes at exact timestamps.
- We make the changes and deliver the video, the caption file, the chapter list and thumbnail stills.
The whole job runs online. Footage comes in through a shared link, cuts go back as review links, and calls are booked in Central time. We don't have an office in Memphis, and an edit doesn't need one.
What you can order
Long-form YouTube edits
Tutorials, reviews, interviews and vlogs cut for pace, with retakes and dead air gone.
B-roll and graphics
Cutaways, screen recordings, zooms and lower thirds so the picture keeps moving.
Chapters and captions
Timestamped chapters for the description and a corrected caption file for upload.
End screens and exports
A clean last 20 seconds for end screen elements, thumbnail stills and upload files.
Questions
Do you meet clients in Memphis?
No. We work by email, review links and video calls booked in Central time.
Can you edit long music lessons without cutting the playing?
Yes. Mark the passages that must stay whole and we'll cut around them, trimming the talk between instead.
Ask for a quote
Cost depends on how much raw footage there is, how long the finished video runs, how much b-roll and graphics work it needs, and whether captions and chapters are included. Each job gets its own written quote before work starts.
