The ring above is an invented product review. Its chapter list on the right is ready to paste into a description: the first timestamp is 0:00, there are at least three chapters, and none runs under ten seconds. Those are the rules YouTube sets for chapters to show on the progress bar, and our ring drawing checks them from the data before it draws anything.

Chapters

Chapters split the progress bar into named sections, so viewers can see what's coming and jump to the part they need. On a long tutorial or review that matters a lot. Someone who only wants the setup steps can skip to them instead of leaving.

We write chapter names from what is actually said in each section, keep them short, and set the timestamps from the locked cut. If the video changes after review, we update the list so it still matches. You can also give us your own names and we'll place them.

Captions

Automatic captions are a start, but they trip over names, product terms, accents and anything said quickly. We correct them line by line against the audio and deliver a caption file (SRT) to upload with the video. Captions help viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing, people watching with the sound off, and anyone following along in a second language.

Spelling and terms

Send a short list of names, brands and technical words that come up in the video. It saves a correction round and keeps the captions and chapter names consistent with how you write them elsewhere.

Other languages

We caption in English. If you need captions in another language, tell us in the brief and we'll say what we can arrange before quoting.

Questions

Can you add chapters to videos already on my channel?

Yes. Send the links and we'll write a chapter list for each one. You paste it into the description.

Can you fix captions on old videos?

Yes. We download the existing captions or work from the audio, correct them, and send back caption files to upload.

Got a long recording waiting to be cut? Tell us how much footage there is, roughly how long the finished video should run, and how often you post.
